Week 1 Modelling the fork was relatively easy as this isn’t a particular concept shape however I found the most useful tool in this the multicut tool as it allows you to further manipulate shapes. A good use of this tool is when you can’t cold CTRL to do a cut all the way around an object you can go into one of the orthographic views Front/Top/Side and hold shift across the cut you want to make and can make a full cut around the object. Using a lattice you I could manipulate everything inside of the lattice. This was useful for quickly deforming a large area without selecting individual verts / edges. Week 2 This week we started applying lamberts to individual faces of objects rather than to the whole object, this allowed for a greater level of detail and achieved a stylised finished.
